I think it is fantastic that you have started your coaching and it is great that you are putting it out there especially for people with disability, as it can be extremely hard to access services and ‘fun things’ for younger people (even more so in a smaller regional area such as L’ton – in comparison to the larger cities) that are non-competitive and kids can just go along – and the session is completely geared to just them and their individual ability. All we want for Sophie is to have fun in the sessions….and she does!!! She comes home with a big smile and is eager to tell us where she’s been! And the bonus is that its physical activity, building her strength and co-ordination and balance and it’s a social outing too; plus she’s hopefully improve her bike riding which we can enjoy more as a whole family!
Hi Andy thank you to Trail Heads MTB Skills for the tuition on the first jump yesterday and also with the jump-skills section. The way you go about conveying the technique and what to change is excellent. I’ve been up there again today feeling a real gain and improvement. Cheers David Gibson
Andy was very easy to learn from and I think it was an excellent choice for me. I'm old and wasn't very good but I do feel so much more confident now. Andy encouraged me but didn't go over my ability if I wasn't prepared to try something. I am delighted with what I learnt and now I just need to consolidate my learning. I don't want to blow my own trumpet but I know I am riding better since my course. I felt Andy was very aware of what I was or wasn't doing. When I tripped while pushing my bike up hill behind Andy and had a nasty tumble (I said I was old) Andy was back with me in no time. I absolutely loved this course and was sooo pleased I put myself out of my comfort zone and did this. ️ Julie B
